CALIFORNIA BUSINESS MINUTE Most Promising Cities for Jobs 06-04-09
Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
Kiplinger.com has released its 2009 Best Cities list, identifying cities most promising for jobs. The rankings focus on places that have stable employment plus the talent to create new, well-paying positions. A robust job market makes these cities safe havens during the recession and will give them a head start toward growth when the recovery takes off.
Martin Prosperity Institute, a think tank that studies economic prosperity completed the study. One key indicator of the ranking is the presence of people who work in professional occupations, such as science, engineering, architecture and education.

Apparently California is not very promising this year.
I am Tim Johnson and this has been the California Business Minute.
