Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
Buffalo New York has been ranked as the “Best City for Working Mothers in the
Nation,” according to the annual ranking by Forbes.com.
Buffalo, a city no known for its quality of life apparently ranks high in terms
pay, low cost of child care along with a general cost of living length of commute,
number of physicians and per pupil expenditures, low unemployment and violent
crime.

3. Hartford, CT
4. Pittsburg, PA
5. Virginia Beach, NC
6. Milwaukie, WI
7. Richmond, VA
8. Boston, MA

In California, the San Jose MSA was the highest ranked at #12, San Diego MSA was
#19, San Francisco-Oakland MSA was 27, the LA MSA was #42, Sacramento MSA #43
and Riverside San Bernardino MSA was #45.
