Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute
"'Grow Your Business, Live Your Life' is a new employer outreach campaign to promote
the advantages of locating a business in Ventura County.
The campaign is an initiative by the Ventura County Workforce Investment Board in
cooperation with the Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County (EDC-VC) in
partnership with the Ventura Federated Chambers of Commerce, and the Economic
Development Roundtable, a group that includes representatives from the County of
Ventura and all 10 cities in the county: Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai, Oxnard,
Port Hueneme, Thousand Oaks, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, Ventura and their economic
development efforts.
The initiative is designed to reach businesses that are committed to locating or
expanding their operations in California.
The campaign will reach businesses in California and nationally through print,
direct mail, online and electronic media. For more information about location or
