Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
CNNMoney, released their rankings of the Top 10 Earning Towns in the Nation. Two
California cities make the list based upon Median Family Income and median House
Price: Hillsborough with a median family Income of $319,240 and Median House
Price of $2.27 million along with Los Altos with a Median Family Income of $243,406
and Median Housing Price at $2.27 million. The following is the list of the Top
Ten Earning towns:
TOP TEN EARNING TOWNS 2011
1. Great Falls, VA
2. Hillsborough, CA
3. Scarsdale, NY
4. Weston, MA
5. Los Altos, CA
6. Glencoe, IL
7. Winnetka, IL
8. New Canaan, CT
9. Darien, CT
10. Chappaqua, NY
Last year, Palo Alto and Newport Beach were on the list.
