They considered more than 30 factors that parents deem vitally important, including
crime and safety, education, economics, housing, cultural attractions and health.

3. Fargo, ND
4. Lincoln , NB
5. Fremont, CA
6. Lexington, KY
7. Honolulu, HI

Worst Places to Raise a Family
100. Detroit, MI
99. Miami, FL
98. Orlando, FL
97. Memphis, TN
96. Fresno

Other California cities were ranked as follows:
San Francisco 14th; San Diego 26th; San Jose 39th; Anaheim 65th; Los Angeles 68th;
Oakland 71st; Riverside 75th; Bakersfield 84th; Sacramento, 88th.
