Top Ten Cities for Auto Theft

Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
The National Insurance Crime Bureau, a Des Plain, Illinois – based non-profit
has released its s annual list of the metropolitan areas in the nation that
have the highest Auto thefts reported as collected by the National Crime
Information Center for each metropolitan statistical area in the nation.
This year, a Texas community knocks off Modesto from its number one position as
the community with the most auto thefts in the nation. Unfortunately however,
California still has more communities in the Top Ten than any state in the nation.
1. Laredo, TX
2. Modesto
3. Bakersfield
4. Stockton
5. Fresno
6. Yakima, WA
7. San Francisco/Oakland/Fremont
8. Visalia/Porterville
9. Las Vegas, NV
10. Albuquerque, NM
