One of the Golden State’s economic strengths is education, specifically higher
education. Forbes.com released their list of the Top 20 Most Educated Small
Cities in the Nation. For California, several cities were on the Top 20.

5. Los Altos, CA
6. West Lafayette, IN
7. Potomac, MD

9. Mountain Brook, AL
10. University Park , TX
11. Brookline, MA
12. Chapel Hill, NC

Unfortunately, the city of Cudahy, in southeastern LA county was ranked the least
educated town in the nation.
