Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
California is home to more companies (35), more than any state on this year’s
list of the “Most Admired Companies” by Fortune magazine. Nine of the top 50
companies were from the Golden State Top 50 again, more than any state.
Cupertino-based Apple and Mt. View-based Google were ranked first and second.
Both companies have been on a roll as last week they were both named in the Top
Ten “Most Innovative Companies” by Fast Company magazine. Apple was ranked the
