The California Business Minute provides information about the people, businesses and
organizations that are creating and growing business along with retaining and growing jobs
in California.
In addition the California Business Minute provides information on a variety of sectors from
aerospace, agriculture, construction, finance, health care, real estate, retail, technology,
transportation and utilities. Information is also provided on topics ranging from general
business trends, labor markets, infrastructure, community and economic development in

Federal Reserve Bank Beige Book
|

| This report is published by the Federal Reserve Bank eight times per year.
The Bank gathers anecdotal information on current conditions in its Districts
through reports from Bank and Branch directors and interviews with key
business contacts economists, market experts and other sources

California Economic Activity Index
|
The California Economic Activity Index equally weights nine,
seasonally-adjusted coincident indicators of real economic
activity. These indicators reflect activity in the
manufacturing, tourism, travel and trade sectors, as well
as job growth and consumer outlays.

| The State of California Dept. of Finance produces
a report that examines specificed indictors that
illustrates the health of the economy.

| UCLA's Business School, provides the Anderson Forecast.

| Chapman University's Argyros School of Business, Anderson Center
in Orange County provides quarterly surveys by Purchasing Managers
and on Consumer Sentiment along with a Leading Employment

The Eberhardt School of of Business at the University of the Pacific,
Stockton publishes quarterly forecasts for the Bay Area, Central
Valley and Capital Region.

Northern California, Humboldt County
|
The Humboldt Economic Index is an economic barometer that
tracks the current state of the economy in Humboldt County
along the northern California coast.
It is a research project of Humboldt State University and
is updated monthly.

| The Sacramento Regional Research Institute is
now known as the Center for Strategic Economic
Research. It is a joint effort of Sacramento State
University and the Sacramento Area Commerce
